Who we are
These terms and conditions govern your use of horizora.co.uk and any services provided by Horizora, a marketing agency run by Irene Sancimino, a sole trader based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, United Kingdom. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Our services
Horizora provides marketing services including social media management, content creation, email marketing, SEO and brand identity. The exact scope of work, deliverables, timelines and pricing will be agreed in writing before any project begins. Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be requested in writing and may affect the timeline and cost of the project.
Quotes and proposals
All quotes and proposals are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A quote does not constitute a contract. Work will only begin once both parties have agreed the scope of work in writing and any required deposit has been received.
Payment terms
A deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project and before final files or assets are delivered. For ongoing monthly services, invoices will be issued at the start of each month and are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
Late payments will incur a late payment fee of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998. Horizora reserves the right to pause or suspend work on any project where payment is overdue.
Deposit policy
For new clients, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed project fee is required to secure your booking and begin work. This deposit covers initial research, planning and preparation. If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the deposit will not be refunded and any additional work completed beyond the deposit value will be invoiced separately.
Your responsibilities
To ensure projects run smoothly and on time, you agree to provide all necessary information, content, materials, logins and feedback in a timely manner. You confirm that any materials you provide to Horizora, including images, text and branding, are owned by you or that you have the legal right to use them. Delays caused by late or incomplete provision of materials are not the responsibility of Horizora and may affect agreed timelines and costs.
Revisions and amendments
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each project includes a set number of revision rounds as outlined in your proposal. Additional revisions beyond what is included will be charged at an hourly rate, which will be communicated to you in advance.
Intellectual property
Upon receipt of full and final payment, all creative work produced by Horizora specifically for you becomes your property. Horizora retains ownership of all work until full payment has been received. Horizora retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio and use it for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before the project begins.
Any tools, processes, templates or methodologies developed by Horizora during the course of work remain the intellectual property of Horizora.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive information shared during the course of working together, including but not limited to business strategies, financial information, client data and trade secrets. This obligation continues after the working relationship has ended. Neither party will disclose such information to third parties without prior written consent.
Data protection
Horizora will handle any personal data shared during the course of work in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy, which can be found at horizora.co.uk/privacy-policy. You agree to ensure that any personal data you share with us has been collected lawfully and that you have the right to share it.
Third party services
Horizora may use third party tools and platforms to deliver services, such as social media platforms, email marketing software and analytics tools. Horizora is not responsible for any changes, outages or limitations imposed by these third party services.
Website use
The content on horizora.co.uk is provided for general information purposes only. Horizora makes no guarantees that the website will be available at all times or that the content is always up to date. We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
Horizora will always aim to deliver high quality work and act in your best interests. However, we cannot guarantee specific results such as search engine rankings, follower growth, increased sales or any other business outcomes, as these depend on many factors outside our control. Our total liability to you in connection with any services provided shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for those services in the preceding three months.
Horizora is not liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses arising from the use of our services or website.
Cancellation
Either party may terminate an ongoing agreement by giving 30 days written notice via email. Any work completed up to the date of cancellation will be charged at the agreed rate and invoiced accordingly. The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. If Horizora needs to cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances, any unused portion of the deposit will be refunded.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible at info@horizora.co.uk. We will do our best to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
Changes to these terms
Horizora reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
